HOLIDAYS abroad might currently be banned in this country, but Manchester Airport has confirmed it is re-opening its popular Runway Visitor Park on Monday.

The opening of the attraction comes as the next step in the government's roadmap out of lockdown comes into force on April 12, meaning there will be a significant reduction in our day to day restrictions.

The park, which has fantastic views of what would normally be one of the busiest runways in Europe, has extensive outdoor space with an on-site cafe offering a takeaway service.

Not only does the park offer amazing views of all things aviation, there is also a children's play area, a shop as well as toilets and baby change facilities.

The park has also achieved 'We're Good to Go' status from Visit England.

Businesses that operate in England and have a Covid-19 Risk Assessment in place are eligible to apply for the industry standard mark.

The park will be open daily between 8am-4pm.
