An air ambulance has landed at Moss Farm Leisure Complex
A PATIENT has been airlifted to hospital after falling ill at Moss Farm Leisure Complex this afternoon, Wednesday.
Witnesses spotted the air ambulance landing in the sports grounds in Moss Lane after midday.
A land ambulance and paramedics also appear to be in attendance.
A spokesperson for North West Air Ambulance confirmed: "We attended an incident following at 999 call at 11.40am reporting a person falling ill.
"We have airlifted a patient to hospital."
