THE mud-squelching obstacle event where you can have fun with your dog is back.

Woof Mudder which raised more than £15,000 for St Luke's Hospice when it was launched has been rescheduled.

The events team is busy planning even bigger and better challenges for dog lovers and their pets to tackle.

The charity is now inviting entries for the event on Sunday, September 26.

More than 200 dogs took part in the inaugural fun day at Blakemere Village in Sandiway in 2019.

Jacqui Campuzano, whose rescue boxer dog Nala was chosen to launch the event, said: "It was a great day.

"All the dogs had a whale of a time and there were big smiles on the faces of their owners."

From the tiniest sausage dog to Great Danes, all the dogs completed the 5k course.

The entry fee includes entertainment, a bandana for dogs and owners and a Woof Mudder T-shirt.

The event is being held at Dorfold Hall, Nantwich. Dogs must be over one year old.

If you don't fancy getting caked in mud and drenched in water, you could enter a mystery dog show on the day instead.
