CORONAVIRUS infection rates have fallen to their lowest levels in around three months in the latest borough-wide figures.

The figures are lower across Northwich, Winsford, Middlewich, Knutsford and Wilmslow now than they were earlier in 2021.

But there are some communities where infection rates have risen in recent days – and many areas still have an infection rate above the current English average of 100.4 per 100,000 people.

This map shows where Covid-19 infections are most prevalent in the area, with places shaded dark blue seeing higher rates of infection, compared to light green areas.

Northwich Guardian:

Areas shaded white had fewer than three coronavirus cases in the seven days up to February 24, and specific data for these locations is not provided by Public Health England.

The map is broken up into ‘middle super output areas’, which are larger than individual villages but smaller than whole towns.

Weaverham and Knutsford North are the communities where coronavirus is most prevalent – while four areas had fewer than three Covid-19 cases in the latest data.
