TWO men due to face trial after being charged in connection with the theft of four Fiat's from a dealership in Allostock, also face a trial in relation to murder.

Stephen Strutt, 39 and thirty-year-old Aaron Stubbs are both currently being held at HMP Liverpool after being charged with conspiring to steal the Fiat Abarth vehicles from Mangoletsi on the A50.

Both men were appearing at Stockport Magistrates Court on January 18 via video link with the matter being sent to Chester Crown Court on February 15 for pleas and trial preparation.

The cars, with a value of £96,000, were taken from the forecourt on May 23 last year.

Along with three others, the pair have also been charged with the murder of St Helens man Warren Glover, who died have being assaulted in the town on June 13.
