STORM Christoph continues to cause havoc with a main road in Tabley closed by police due to flooding.
The A556 was closed shortly before 12noon, with the Manchester-bound carriageway completely flooded in water.
Cheshire Police tweeted out a photo of the road, advising motorists to avoid the area and apologising for any inconvenience caused.
A Met Office weather warning for rain remains in place until Thursday morning.
