A MAN has admitted to stealing alcohol in a burglary at the Mercure Hotel in St Helens.
Benjamin Dainty, of Grantham Crescent, Islands Brow, indicated a guilty plea to the charge at Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates’ Court.
Dainty, 35, entered the Mercure Hotel in St Helens as a trespasser on June 17, 2020 and stole alcohol.

The case was adjourned until February 12 for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
Dainty was remanded on unconditional bail until then.
