A SEVENTEEN-YEAR-OLD boy has been sentenced for disclosing private sexual material without consent.
The boy, from Newton-le-Willows, pleaded guilty to the offence at Merseyside Youth Court.
The boy, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, admitted to a charge of disclosed a private sexual photograph or film without the consent of an individual who appeared in it, contrary to the Criminal Justice and Courts Act.
He committed the offence on March 25, 2020.

The teenager was referred to the youth offender panel for three months.
He was also ordered to pay £50 in compensation, a £22 surcharge to victim services and £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service, making a total of £157.
His guilty plea was taken into account upon sentencing.
