CHILDREN have been spreading some Christmas cheer in the community.
Creative pupils at Over Hall Community School have designed their own Christmas cards and sent them to residents at Hazelmere retirement home in Winsford.
Year 6 teacher Laura Siwinski said: "The children were delighted to create a card for elderly residents in their community and sent lovely messages and festive wishes.
"The cards have been displayed in the communal area at Hazelmere and we are told they have been well received.

"The children have also recorded each other reading Christmas stories that have been shared with key stage 1 classes and the local Sunrise Nursery."
