PARAMEDICS have been sent out following a crash on the M6 this afternoon, December 2.
One lane of the southbound carriageway was closed between junctions 17 at Sandbach and 16 at Crewe, while traffic officers were at the scene.
Cheshire Police was called out following the incident at 12.40pm.
The force says the crash involved a grey SsangYong vehicle which hit the central reservation.
A man who was driving the car was checked over at the scene by paramedics but did not go to hospital.
No one else is believed to have been involved.
Recovery of the vehicle has now taken place and the lane closure has been lifted, with traffic coping well in the area.
