Gas works on Chester Road, Ellesmere Port, are causing delays.
GAS works are causing traffic delays on a main road in Ellesmere Port.
Lengthy queues formed during rush hour this morning (November 30) due to the temporary traffic lights in place on Chester Road, close to the junction with Pooltown Road.
The works are being carried out on Chester Road by Cadent Gas.
Temporary traffic lights are also in force on Pooltown Road.
Cadent confirmed that work had taken place yesterday to connect a property into the gas network.
A spokesman said that reinstatement work was due to take place today.
He added: "We appreciate people's patience while we complete the work."
