THE Coffee House in Northwich has moved to thanks its customers for their support during its first year in business.

Located in Barons Quay, it first opened its doors back in February and the team behind the independent venture say despite the amazing start, nothing could have prepared them for what lay ahead.

Marketing Manager Lizzie Clarke said: "However, like the rest of the world, people and businesses alike have adapted to the ‘new normal’.

"Following our reopening in July, it has been an absolute joy to welcome customers back through our doors.

"We have received many positive words of support, even local artist, songwriter and Northwich resident, Jim Stanley went a step further by gifting us with some beautiful pieces of work.

"He explained to us, that every morning since retiring he starts his day by visiting a local coffee shop.

"He takes a small sketch pad and leaves drawings as a way of saying thank you for good coffee and good service."

Northwich Guardian:

Jim was so inspired by his surroundings he later created this painting with a scene set inside the coffee shop.

Lizzie went on: "As we enter this second lockdown, we remain optimistic that this won’t last for forever.

"As such, we would like to continue supporting the local community by remaining open and ready to offer a slice of normality over these coming weeks.

"We look forward to welcoming many familiar and new faces to the store in Barons Quay and hope that everyone remains safe and well throughout these difficult times ahead."

The Coffee House remains open seven days a week for take away only - Monday to Saturday: 8am-6pm and Sunday: 9am-5pm.
