A FURTHER patient with coronavirus has sadly died at the Countess of Chester Hospital Trust, according to the latest NHS England report today (Thursday, October 29).
The patient died at the hospital trust on October 27.
East Cheshire NHS Trust recorded three further deaths. The dates the patients died were two on October 26 and one on October 27.
In addition, one death was recorded at the Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The patient died on October 28.
The total number of patients with coronavirus who have died in Cheshire hospitals now stands at 798.
The Countess of Chester Hospital Trust has recorded 236 deaths (the last on October 27), Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has recorded 220 deaths (the last on October 16); East Cheshire NHS Trust 155 (the last on October 27), and Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust 182 (the last on October 28).
According to Thursday's NHS England report, a further 192 people, who tested positive for the coronavirus have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 32,484.
Patients were aged between 27 and 101 years old. All except one (aged 63) had known underlying health conditions.
Date of death ranges from 27 March to 28 October 2020, with the majority being on or after 25 October.
Their families have been informed.
