WARRINGTON Hospital’s coronavirus death toll has risen to 184.
The total number of deaths of Covid-19 patients at Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has increased by one on yesterday’s figures.
In total, 118 people are currently being treated for the virus at the Lovely Lane site.
Sixteen of these inpatients are in intensive care.
The number of patients who have been discharged from the hospital after being treated for coronavirus since the start of the pandemic stands at 567.
Warrington currently has the 37th highest rate of transmission of any local authority area in the country.
In the seven days leading up to October 22, 830 new cases were recovered – a rate of 395.2 positive tests for every 100,000 residents.
In the same period of time before October 15, 721 people in the town caught the virus – or 343.3 per 100,000 of the population.
