THERE aren't many people who don't like a slice or pizza or eight, and Northwich now has a new place where you can get your fix.

The Pizza Northwich opens on Chester Road on Wednesday, and the new owners say their specially made dough and cooking technique will see customers flocking back for more.

Waqar Ahmed and his business partner Sarfraz Fiaz, who have more than ten years experience in the food trade said that despite concerns about the impact of Covid-19 they are confident they will be able to provide their customers with the best service possible.

Waqar said: "It has been a six month struggle due to covid to get the shop ready and fully refurbished.

"The previous shop (The British Raj) shut down because they were struggling due to the pandemic, however we are confident that we can get it up and running again by introducing something new and give customers the best service possible."

Nearly all pizzas are defined by the quality of their dough, and Waqar went on to say how he hopes his pizza's will more than pass the taste test.

He said: "The recipe is our own which has been tested and passed by food critics.

"Our pizza dough is made fresh on-site using fresh ingredients and hand stretched into pans ready to be served.

"All our sides and pizzas are cooked in a gas heated oven, including our sides, such as chicken wings, curly fries chicken strips, nachos etc.

"This means that nothing is fried in fat or any sort of oil.

"This is a takeaway service, however we have amazing collection deals so people can order in and takeaway."

The Pizza Northwich is located on 61 Chester Road and orders can be made in person, by telephone (0160675522) or using their website.
