THIS is a picture which won’t be recreated any time soon sadly.

Edward Richards sent us this brilliant picture of a street party from 1952 to mark the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.

It was taken in Garibaldi Street in Bank Quay.

Edward is pictured in the background of the crowd and says he can still name many of the others and is regularly in touch with some.

He says the cakes pictures on the stand on the tables was a rare treat in those days of the early 1950s.

You can also see the disused shop which went bust during the recession at the end of the Second World War.
