TOWNFIELD will again host a double dose of FA Vase action later this month thanks to both 1874 Northwich and Barnton progressing to the first round proper.

In today's draw, 1874, who are tenants on Barnton's ground, have landed Harrogate Railway Athletic, while Barnton have been paired with Bacup Borough.

The ties are due to take place on the weekend of Saturday, October 31.

1874 booked their place with a 3-0 victory over Selby Town in the second qualifying round on Saturday.

Barnton went one better, securing a 4-0 success over Swallownest on Sunday.

Harrogate, who play in Northern Counties East Division One, booked their place to face 1874 with a 1-0 win at Thackley FC.

Bacup overhauled Stockport Town 4-3 on penalties, after the game had finished 1-1, to secure their passage to face Barnton.
