A FALLING tree hit a lorry in Northwich on Wednesday (August 12) evening.
The incident happened at around 10.22pm on Marbury Road, with Cheshire Fire Service sending two appliances from the town's station to the scene.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: "On arrival the crews carried out an assessment of the lorry.
"A road closure was put in place by the Highways Agency and police. The tree was cut down and firefighters made the scene safe."
The spokesperson went on to say that no injuries were believed to have been caused as a result of the incident.
