COFFEE house, kitchen and bar brand, BEAR, has today announced that it will open its new Northwich Barons Quay site next month.

The coffee shop with a difference, also offering food, cocktails and craft beer, was due to open in the Spring, but was set back due to the pandemic.

But determined not to have their plans set back too much, an opening date of Friday, September 4, has now been announced.

Sam Nowzady, Store Manager at BEAR Northwich, says he wants to work closely with the Northwich community after opening next month.

Sam said: "We are excited to announce the opening of our new store in Barons Quay in September. The store fit-out is very nearly all finished, so it won't be long before the espressos (and Espresso Martinis) are flowing.

Northwich Guardian:

"We want to work closely with the community of Northwich, so we encourage people to pop in, speak to the team and let us know what we can do to support your business, charity or local event. I can't wait to become a familiar face to you all, along with the rest of my team."

Following the nationwide hospitality closures through March to July, BEAR has worked hard to keep afloat, pivoting the business to focus sales on its online store, launching its own range of coffee pods and pre-made picnic boxes, as well as turning its midlands stores into takeout-only venues with a heavy focus on retail.

BEAR will open in the bright, spacious unit overlooking the River Weaver, neighbouring the Odeon cinema.

BEAR will operate a counter-service coffee house, kitchen and bar, offering a comfortable and inclusive space to relax over coffee and cake, brunch, or cocktails.

BEAR currently operates four other sites across the Midlands, as well as a coffee-house based inside Paperchase on Tottenham Court Road, Central London.
