FIREFIGHTERS spent 20 minutes at the scene of an open fire near Manchester Road on Thursday.
One fire engine from Northwich attended the incident at 3.21pm in Renshaw Street.
On arrival, the crew discovered that it was a small fire and tackled it with water.
It was the second incident Northwich firefighters dealt with yesterday.
One fire engine from town was sent out to a commercial building at Winsford Industrial Estate following a fire caused by a light fitting.
