BOLTON cinema The Light will reopen its doors later this month.
A statement on the cinema’s website confirmed the attraction in the Market Place Shopping Centre will welcome film goers on August 21 —for the first time since closing in mid-March due to the coronavirus.
A spokesperson for the cinema said: “Although we’re still firming up our film schedule, tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, August 12 for the likes of TENET, Inception and The Dark Knight Trilogy.
“As you’d expect we’ve introduced a range of safety measures to make sure we keep both our guests and teams as safe as possible.”
The new measures include only accepting contactless and card payments, amended seating layouts to create safe space between groups, circulating full fresh air through the cinema’s air-conditioning, protective screens at tills points, enhanced cleaning of high frequency areas and easily accessible hand sanitiser stations.
More in-depth measures will be released next week.
