WOODEN hoarding boards have been erected around Hartford’s former Warrington and Vale Royal College campus.
The Chester Road site is being prepared for demolition ahead of up to 128 new homes being built in its place.
Developer Lane End Group is yet to confirm a date as to when the external demolition of the college buildings will take place.
A present, workers are removing materials from the inside of the buildings, with actual demolition work expected to commence ‘within weeks’.
A spokesman for Lane End Group said: “We are continuing the soft strip on the internals.
“Hoarding is being erected as per our basic site programme.
“No definitive date has been set for the demolition of the buildings. It will commence in the summer.”
