TWO wheelie bins caught fire near a building in Winsford.
Firefighters were called to Delamere Street shortly before 4pm yesterday.
Crews discovered that the fire involved two wheelie bins near to a building.
The fire had spread to ivy attached to the building and activated a smoke alarm inside the property.
Firefighters extinguished the fire with a hose reel jet.
Crews then inspected the inside of the building, including the roof space, to make sure that the fire had not spread, using a thermal imaging camera to look for hotspots.
Once they were satisfied that the building was safe they left the scene.
Firefighters were at the scene for more than an hour.
