PLAYGROUND equipment manufacturer Maple Leaf Designs is seeking to expand its business at Cranage Trade Park.
Thornhills (Betchton) Ltd is seeking permission to provide a new building to allow the expansion of Maple Leaf Designs.
A report to Cheshire East Council said the business was expanding and required additional space to enable the production of the equipment.
The proposal would see the erection of a clear-span building next to the existing buildings at the site.
The report said the building would match the design and appearance of the existing buildings, consistent with those used in the rural setting.
It would be located at the back of the site, limiting its visual impact from public vantage points.
The site earmarked for the building is 70 metres from the nearest house.
