MORE than 20 of Knutsford restaurants and cafes are taking part in the Government’s Eat Out to Help Out Scheme, which starts next Monday, August 3.

The scheme, which runs to August 31, gives diners a discount of up to 50 per cent when they eat at registered venues.

The discount is applied to food and non-alcoholic drinks at eat in venues every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday in August.

The discount is a maximum of £10 per diner but can be taken advantage of as many times as a diner wishes on repeat visits and different venues.

There is no minimum spend, no voucher required and it can be used in conjunction with other offers and discounts.

The discount cannot be claimed on alcoholic drinks or service charges and the participating venue claims a reimbursement from the government for the discount they have given you.

Sandra Curties, town centre and marketing officer said: “Lots of Knutsford cafes and restaurants are taking part in this great scheme.

“It is a great way to support our local economy during the summer holidays.

"We have collated a list of the participating venues and will be adding to the list over the coming weeks so please check Knutsford Town Council and Knutsford Virtual High Street Facebook pages too.

“Alternatively, just give the venue a call. Or if you are a venue get in touch to be added to the list.”
