A FIRE at a house in Northwich was caused by a hairdryer.
Firefighters tackled the fire on the first floor of a property in Holmes Chapel Road shortly after 10.15am on Saturday.
The fire is believed to have been caused by a hairdryer.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to put out the flames.
A large fan was used to disperse the smoke.
Crews were at the scene for one hour and 30 minutes.
Firefighters from Middlewich and Holmes Chapel dealt with the incident.
