A MUM and daughter are embarking on a demanding challenge to help children in crisis in Yemen.
Jenny Scott and 17-year-old Eloise, from Winsford, are completing a 5k circuit every day for a month.
The pair started their mission on Monday and plan to complete 160k, finishing on August 20.
So far they have raised more than £150 for Unicef on their JustGiving page for Unicef.
"We watched these appeals on television and realise how lucky we are," said Jenny, a teaching assistant at Middlewich High School.
"Over 12 million children in Yemen were already in dancer. Now coronavirus threatens their life too. 80 per cent of Yemen’s population are in need of humanitarian aid and protection. Just £11 could provide a child in Yemen with life-saving food for one week."
The pair set off from home every morning at around 7am and walk and run different routes around the town.

"We go nice and early before it is too hot and the roads are quiet," said Jenny. "We've been going round different of bits of golf course and the Knights Grange area. I'm taking Eloise to places she doesn't know.

"We're really enjoying walking and talking. I'm new to running. It's nice for us to able to spend some quality time together having a chat."
Eloise, known to her friends and family as Weesie, is studying A Levels in psychology, art and health and social B Tech at Sir John Deane's College in Northwich.
Her brother, Joseph, 19, is a student at the University of Chester where he is training to be a police officer.
They both used to attend Middlewich High School.
"My school colleagues have been very supportive, " said Jenny. "We have already reached our target but we would like to beat this now and raise more money."
