TIME Square multi-storey car park will return to being open 24/7 from tomorrow, Friday.

Over the last two weeks, there has been a significant increase in the number of people using the site as more businesses open up.

Traffic in the car park is increasing as people return to town centre shops, restaurants, pubs, bars and the new £11 million Warrington Market.

In particular, the borough council says there is an increased demand after 9pm as a result of the reopening of additional late night venues.

Therefore, the car park, which was previously open from 7am to 9pm, from Monday to Sunday, will now be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The full reopening of the car park – which form part of the plans to support the town centre as it gets back to business – also coincides with Cineworld opening for business again on July 31.

The large numbers of people returning to the town centre have just seen Warrington named by Centre for Cities as one of the leading destinations in the UK for footfall increase since non-essential shops reopened.
