THE archers of Winnington Park have dusted off their bows and are back at the outdoor range at Moss Farm.
Just before lockdown came into play, the archers were doing socially distanced sessions at their indoor range at Winnington Park Recreation Club.
But the UK Government lockdown and instructions from Archery GB meant that they had to pack away their arrows and sit and wait along with the rest of the country.
Relief came at the beginning of June, when after careful planning and specific guidelines to follow, the archers emerged again, this time onto their outdoor range, participating in socially distanced sessions with small groups.
Lots of interesting shots and aching muscles have been seen down at the range over the past few weeks, but the archers report they are all so glad to be back with bow in hand.
