BEAR is on the lookout for new staff members as it steps up preparations for its Northwich store opening.

The coffee house, which brands itself as #notanothercoffeeshop, was due to open in Barons Quay on April 16.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the grand opening of the unit opposite Odeon overlooking the River Weaver has been pushed back to late summer or early Autumn.

But after assessing the situation during the lockdown, BEAR is now ramping up preparations and is searching for new members to join its team.

Sam Nowzady, store manager at BEAR Northwich, said: “After the lockdown caused us to slow our progress with the store, BEAR Northwich is now officially moving full steam ahead.

“I couldn’t be more excited about it.

“Coffee shops are centred around community, and this is something we recognise at BEAR.

“We work hard to wholeheartedly involve ourselves with our wonderful locals, and we can’t wait to complete our team and get stuck in with making loads of new friends in the area.”

The company is hoping to recruit a head chef and junior sous chef, with applications now being welcomed.

As well as coffee and food, BEAR will serve cocktails and craft beer, with can be enjoyed indoors and al fresco.
