FIVE big-hearted children have decorated rocks to treat NHS heroes.
The Middlewich youngsters set up a stall outside their home and raised almost £200 over the weekend to buy treats for nurses at Leighton Hospital.
Jessica Ravenscroft, six, and sister Layla, 11, came up with the idea.
Mum Anna, 36, of Westlands Road, said: "Layla and Jessica decided to decorate rocks and make their own business at home. They started painting rocks for family members.
"Then their friends wanted to help so they decided to raise money to buy treats for staff at Leighton Hospital. We had no idea until we discovered they had designed leaflets and posted them through neighbours' doors."
Mia Glover, 11, who goes to Middlewich Primary School with the sisters, teamed up with brothers George Connor, 11, and Jack, 10, both pupils at St Mary's RC Primary School.

"They wanted to raise £50 to buy some cakes and treats to send to nurses at Leighton Hospital," said Anna, who works as cabin crew for easyJet.
Dad Daniel, 35, serves in the army.
Jessica and Layla are members of Middlewich Town Football Club. Layla enjoys horse riding and Jessica plays the drums.
"They did all of this on their own," added Anna. "They made a banner explaining what they're doing and had a hand sanitiser next to their mini till so anyone who came by could have a squirt.
"Over the weekend they raised £190.We're just super proud of them.
"It shows what amazing children they all are and how thoughtful and caring they are. They see our NHS heroes giving to us and they just wanted to give something back."

The children plan to sell their rocks after home schooling every day this week and continue their fundraising until Sunday.
"100 per cent of the money will be spent on treats for our NHS heroes and will be delievered to the hospital by our fantastic five, " said Anna
