MEMBERS of the public can now book in advance to visit Quarry Bank.

Bookings for the National Trust site, in Styal, opened on Friday, May 29.

Quarry Bank is one of a select number of National Trust sites that will open from Wednesday, June 3, only to those who have booked in advance.

It follows the easing of lockdown restrictions by Boris Johnson on Thursday, May 28, to allow groups of up to six to meet in outdoor spaces – provided they stick to social distancing rules.

Dunham Massey, near Altrincham, and Lyme, near Disley, will also be open from next Wednesday for those who have pre-booked.

Booking is also required for some National Trust car parks.
