Detectives investigating an altercation in Ellesmere Port are appealing for information and footage from members of the public.

The incident involving two men occurred in Parklands, Little Sutton, at around 3pm on Tuesday, May 26.

No-one was injured as a result of the altercation in the street.

Two men from Ellesmere Port have been arrested on suspicion of public order offences in connection with the incident.

The 30 and 40-year-old men have both been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries.

As part of their enquires detectives want to speak to anyone who witnessed the altercation.

Detectives also want to hear from anyone who was driving in Parklands and believes they have dashcam footage that may help the investigation.

Detective Constable Jake Connolly, of Ellesmere Port CID, said: “We are determined to establish exactly what happened and then progress our investigation accordingly.

“Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and we are appealing for anyone with information or footage that may aid our investigation to come forward.
