A man will appear in court
A MAN charged with assault and carrying a rounders bat as a weapon will appear in court.
James Stuart Smith, of Eliza Street, Bold was due before Merseyside Magistrates' Court.
Smith, 27, is accused of an assault on December 5, 2019 on Eliza Street.
Smith is also accused of having an offensive weapon, namely a rounders bat.
The case was adjourned due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Smith will next appear in court on June 4.
