FIREFIGHTERS tackled a chimney fire in Little Budworth this afternoon.
Crews were called to Vicarage Lane in Tarporley at 1.40pm.
Firefighters fought the fire from the grate, using water.
Once the fire appeared to be out firefighters inspected the property, looking for hotspots on all floors using a thermal imaging camera.
Crews left the scene after ensuring the property, including the attic was safe.
Firefighters were in attendance for nearly an hour.
