CHILDREN feature in a video telling their teachers how they are missing them and their friends ‘like crazy’ during the coronavirus lockdown.

A total of 15 children from Charles Darwin Primary School feature in the video, which was put together in response to one featuring the staff for pupils, parents and carers.

The video features children from reception and years 1, 3, 4 and 6, who hold up colourful word cards saying how they are missing school, their friends and teachers.

The words were written by parent Laura Jones, and the video was put together by fellow parent Sian Tabberner, who is a member of FOTSA.

Sian’s children Oliver, five, and Logan, eight, attend the school, as do Laura’s children Ronnie, five, and Niamh, eight, with all four appearing in the video.

Sian said: “The video the staff did for the pupils was loved so much that some of the pupils wanted to do one back, which shows how much love the pupils have for the school and their teachers.”

The video is accompanied to the Bruno Mars song ‘Count On Me’, and features the message of the Charles Darwin Way - Be Safe, Be Ready and Be Respectful
