DOZENS of patients have now returned home from Leighton Hospital after recovering from the coronavirus.
As of noon on Wednesday, April 15, there have been 68 patients who have been discharged from the hospital and have returned home having recovered from Covid-19.
A spokesman for Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, which runs the hospital, said: "Well done and thank you to our hard-working teams, both on the frontline and behind the scenes."
At 8pm tomorrow, April 16, Cheshire residents will again be clapping for our brave NHS staff and key workers during the coronavirus pandemic.
