MAJOR retailers have issued product recalls on hash browns, vegetable lasagne and superglue.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has allowed the public to shop for essential items as little as possible, and urged people to stay at home where possible.

But anyone who has recently bought certain brands of hash browns, vegetable lasagne and and a floodlight has been urged to return the product.

Co-op frozen hash browns have been recalled due to the a possible presence of pieces of white plastic making them unsafe to eat.

The pack size affect is 700g with a best before date of July 2021.

A 50W LED Motion Sensor Flood Light is also being recalled.

The light, which has a model number of 10105001, has a protective conductor which is not connected and could result in an electric shock for the user.

Amy's Kitchen gluten free vegetable lasagne is being recalled because the packs may contain metal shavings.

Customers who bought the lasagnes are advised to return them for a full refund.

The affected packs have a batch code of 30-K269 and a best before date of November 2021.
