TWO funds have been launched to support the vital work of Cheshire's charities during the coronavirus pandemic.
The Cheshire Community Foundation has set up a COVID-19 response fund to support charities facing increased demand.
It will support community response and support volunteers, emergency support services such as foodbanks, or charitable projects providing activities for vulnerable residents who are self-isolating.
Meanwhile, the Steve Morgan Foundation has launched a fund worth up to £1 million a week for 12 weeks for charities and not-for-profit organisations based west of the M6.
The cash will help with the costs of additional emergency services to support people affected by the virus and support charities experiencing a loss of fundraising revenue to stay in business.
