Man gets more time to pay nine-year-old court fine
A MAN has been given more time to pay a court fine imposed nine years ago.
Michael Andrew McGeown, 36, from Barrow, was fined £2,150.23 by South Cumbria Magistrates' Court in 2011.
After failing to pay the fine he found himself back before the same court.
Magistrates granted McGeown, of Cross Street, more time to pay the penalty.
He will pay it at a rate of £20 per month.
