RECYCLING centres in Cumbria have closed after the latest government advice on coronavirus.
All 14 of the county council’s Household Waste Recycling Centres have shut because people are only allowed to leave their homes in certain circumstances.
“The Government has been clear under which very limited circumstances individuals are permitted to leave their home,”said a county council spokesman.
“The HWRC sites do not fall within these categories.”
The closures affect sites in Barrow, Grange, Millom and Ulverston.
