FRESH from a successful run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, an imaginative LGBTQ performance is coming to Northwich.

'Yours Sincerely', a coming-of-age comedy based on real life, tells the tale of Will Jackson who has accidentally stolen 300 stamps and must now work out how to make them count.

Produced by Quick Duck Theatre, the show follows Will as he reconnects with everyone, from old friends and ex-boyfriends to the marketing department of John Lewis – with whom he has a run-in.

Based on real life correspondence, the comedy brings to life the complications and hilarity of 21st century communications by weaving together fast-paced storytelling and lip sync cabaret.

Northwich Guardian:

The one-man show comes to the Lion Salt Works following a hit run of five-star reviews at the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Cllr Louise Gittins, leader of Cheshire West and Chester Council and cabinet member for wellbeing, said: “The Lion Salt Works Museum prides itself on showing a variety of different plays, performances and musical events.

"I am delighted that the museum will be showing ‘Yours Sincerely’, a play that comes to Cheshire after a highly successful run at Edinburgh Fringe Festival.”

Part of the Cheshire Rural Touring Arts Spring season, tickets to this LGBTQ performance cost £10 per adult and £6.50 for under 16s.

The comedy is suitable for children over 14 years old.

Bookings can be made by calling 01606 275066 or at ticketsource.co.uk/cheshireruraltouringarts

The Lion Salt Works Museum itself tells the story of salt through fun, interactive displays, a theatrical lighting, sound and film experience and a walk-in ‘subsiding house’.

There is no charge to visit the bespoke play area, butterfly garden, café or shop.
