AN estate agency says that it is excited to start matching people with their dream homes after opening a new branch in Northwich.

Manchester-based Edward Mellor has recently acquired Meller Braggins, one of the longest established and leading estate agents in the Cheshire area.

And this has seen it open its doors on The Bull Ring, as well as in Stockton Heath and Macclesfield.

Despite the rebrand, the new Northwich branch will retain the existing Meller Braggins staff, who have operated in the area for a number of years.

And their wealth of local knowledge and experience is something that Edward Mellor is hoping to harness in order to help Northwich residents secure their dream homes.

Northwich Guardian:

“Northwich, as an area, has a lot going for it and we are excited about just how big and busy it is,” said managing director Peter Barlow.

“There are plenty of estate agents for people to choose from, but our research showed that they are all operating in a very traditional manner and not like our other 11 branches, meaning that the customer experience could be improved upon.

“This is what we will be bringing to the Northwich market - looking at what our customers are trying to achieve and delivering an experience to match.

“Our experience and working methods, achieving the best outcomes for our customers, allied with local knowledge from experienced staff, is very exciting.”

On the acquisition of Meller Braggins, he added: “We are delighted to be working with the existing team at Meller Braggins, who have great experience in their locations.

“We believe that this, alongside the knowledge and marketing gained from the wider Edward Mellor business, will be a step-change for our current and future clients.”
