BEAR coffee house, kitchen and bar has announced the opening date of its Northwich branch.

Branding itself as #notanothercoffeeshop, the chain will open in Barons Quay on Thursday, April 16.

The café will be located next to Barons Quay Social and opposite Odeon overlooking the River Weaver.

It is only the sixth BEAR coffee house in the country, joining others in Uttoxeter, Stone, two in Derby and one in London.

And it will offer food, cocktails and craft beer alongside its signature speciality coffee, served from morning until evening.

This can be enjoyed in BEAR’s ‘al-fresco’ dining area, which was recently approved by Cheshire West and Chester Council.

Speaking ahead of the opening, BEAR Northwich store manager Sam Nowzady said: "We are excited to announce the opening of our new store in Barons Quay on 16th April.

“This will follow an exciting family-focussed pre-launch event which will be publicised in the coming weeks.

“The store fit-out is well underway, so it won't be long before the espressos and espresso martinis are flowing.

"We want to work closely with the community of Northwich, so we encourage people to pop in, speak to the team and let us know what we can do to support your business, charity or local event.

“I can't wait to become a familiar face to you all, along with the rest of my team."
