A WOMAN has been arrested after a crash shut a Corfe Castle road last night.
The 28-year-old was held on suspicion of driving offences after the two-car crash in Valley Road just after 9.05pm.
She continues to help officers with their investigation this morning.
A police official said: "We were called to a report of a two-vehicle collision in Valley Road near Corfe Castle. It was reported that the road was blocked.
"Officers attended and recovery was arranged for the vehicles involved – a green Austin and a grey Peugeot 2008. There were no reports of any serious injuries.
"A 28-year-old Wareham woman was arrested on suspicion of driving offences and is assisting officers with their enquiries.
"Officers left the scene at around 10.45pm."
