A PAINTING club is looking for new members.
The Lostock Gralam Wednesday Painters meet at Lostock Gralam church hall every Wednesday from 10.15am to 3.15pm.
It is non profit making club which aims to encourage people in the community to meet to promote all aspects of visual arts.
Themes on animals, birds, shadows, garden sheds and work based on artist Eric Tucker will be featured in their spring programme which runs until April 1.
Club secretary Ken Allen said: "We meet for the whole day which enables us time to share thoughts and ideas which promotes further paintings.

"We are currently looking for new members and would like to hear from anyone interested in joining."
A programme is developed each term with projects incorporating painting, drawing and sketching for members to develop in their own style.

Each programme includes various painting projects and visits to various galleries and places of artistic interest.
A visit to the Eric Tucker's The Unseen Artist exhibition in Warrington is planned.
