WINNINGTON Village residents are another step closer to seeing their own Co-op store open, after its proposed signage were given the go-ahead by planners.
A key part of the approved 'village centre', the food store would feature blue and white Co-op branding – illuminated during opening hours.

A Kids Planet day nursery and a Dominos takeaway are among fellow confirmed tenants, with another five units located in a row of shops along with a separate community centre.

Approving the signage, a Cheshire West and Chester Council planning officer said the application, dated December, was not subject to any planning constraints.
'Phase two' of the village centre project is set to include a new pub.
