A STRETCH of road in Acton Bridge is set to be closed for three days next week.
The closure will cause disruption on a small section of Hill Top Road near to the junction with Old Lane.
It is due to begin on Wednesday, February 12 to allow Cadent Gas to carry out service works, and will be in place through to Friday, February 14.
A diversion has been drawn up that will see motorists avoid the closure by instead using Acton Lane, Warrington Road, Sandy Lane and Station Road, before re-joining Hill Top Road at the bottom.
A public notice issued by Cheshire West and Chester Council reads: “The closure will come into force on Wednesday, February 12 and will be in force for a maximum of five days.
“It is anticipated that the work will last for approximately three days.”
