CHILDREN at a Winsford school have discovered how to safe online.

Grange Community Nursery and Primary School welcomed Henry Platten, founder of eCadets, the Uk's leading pupil-led online safety education programme.

Teachers, parents and pupils listened to Henry describe the latest apps and social media platforms at a school family assembly.

In an illustrative talk, he shared top tips including how to make the world's safest password.

Henry then ran workshops with older pupils highlighting the dangers of social media and how children can take steps to stay safe online.

Pupils in years 3 and 4 explored the world of gaming and discovered the safety various safety measures.

Year 2 pupils learnt all about their digital footprints.

The day was funded by the Darnhall Trust.
