NATALIE and Darren Reynolds have taken over the reins of The Nursery at Wilmslow Prep, having purchased the business last month. This followed the retirement of former owner and manager of the nursery, Caroline Sacco.

The couple are already familiar faces at the nursery site as two of their three children attended the nursery and all three then went onto the adjoining Wilmslow Prep School.

The Reynolds family also own Holiday Zone Ltd, a company which runs out of school provision at a number of schools in the area, including Wilmslow Prep.

Darren is also Operations Director at Wes Brown Football Coaching, the former Manchester United player’s official football camp.

Natalie said: “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to run this small, family-focused nursery where every day is a delight.

“It really is a home from home environment which is just how we want it to be.

“Our primary aims are to improve on the fantastic facilities already on offer, whilst developing an exciting curriculum which encourages the children to learn both indoors and outdoors, through play and exploration, not just in a formal learning environment.”

The existing team of 12 nursery staff, which includes three fully qualified teachers, with early years qualifications, will remain in position and two new nursery assistants have been recruited and will be joining the team this month.

Natalie added: “The Nursery is very popular and already fully booked Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays

“We do have limited availability Mondays and Fridays. Parents wishing to book in from Easter are advised to add children to our current waiting list, via email or phone.”

Helen Rigby, headteacher of Wilmslow Prep, who own the nursery building, said: “Natalie and Darren share our caring ethos and we are delighted to welcome them as the new owners of the nursery.

“We are all looking forward to working alongside them and wish them all the very best.”
